E: Life wisdom

This is the web master’s cut of a chain e-mail I received regarding friendship. What fascinated me were some of the lessons of life, the composer had gathered. I will share these with you in two parts. The first one is today.

For the record, the all the sentences in the e-mail began “I have learned that….”

1) Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

2) We should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

3) Money doesn't buy class.

4) It's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

5) Under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

6) The Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?

7) To ignore the facts does not change the facts.

8) When you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

9) Love, not time, heals all wounds.

10) The easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

11) Everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
