E: Life wisdom - part 2

This is the web master’s cut of a chain e-mail I received regarding friendship. What fascinated me were some of the lessons of life, the composer had gathered. I will share these with you in two parts. The second and last one is today. The first part is also worth a peek.

For the record, the all the sentences in the e-mail began “I have learned that….”

12) There's nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.

13) No one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

14) Life is tough, but I'm tougher.

15) Opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

16) When you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

17) I wish I could have told those I cared about that I love them one more time before they passed away.

18) One should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

19) A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

20) I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.

21) When your newly born child holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.

22) Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain. But all the happiness, and growth happen while you're climbing it.

23) The less time I have to work, the more things I get done.
