E: Chile?

That´s right. I am in Arica, all the way up north in Chile. This morning Renato (see "X: Rio") dropped me off at the aiport after some great days in Rio (more to come from there), and I flew via Sâo Paulo and Santiago to get to Arica.

I was not supposed to end up here, but the night bus was full and there is nothing taking me towards Bolivia before tomorrow morning at.

9:30 I will leave for La Paz, which will take me another 8 hours in bus. But at least I´ll be all right tomorrow night.

Spanish is much easier to communicate in than portugese, mainly because Spanish is what I have been studying. But this sudden change of plans and limitation of words and key phrases makes it hard - since I do not have anyone to consult but my own brain.

But I made it so far, I survive with what I know, and I will learn heaps from this.
I am about to crash at a local house/hotel for 3000 pesos - whatever that is in a currency you know. :)

I like adventure, and this is certainly what I get around here. Bolivia awaits tomorrow.
